Motion for Illustration Spring 2021

ILLU3273/Studio/01 – Motion for Illustration | Credits 3.00

Spring 2021

Professor John Cairns
Industry-standard software is used to bring existing and new illustrations to life through digital motion and interactivity. Projects will develop through exercises in timelines, frames, transformations, cameras, lights, video effects, rotoscoping, and digital puppet creation. Visual storytelling skills are developed in completing projects that show off individual aesthetic sensibilities. Projects are focused on “real-world” applications for illustration work, such as electronic publishing, social media promotion, web-based design, and new digital delivery methods.
